Privacy

The short version: no accounts, no tracking, no personal data.

What we don't do

• No login, no email signup, no "account"
• No cookies
• No targeted ads, no third-party trackers
• No selling data — there's no data to sell

What we do collect

We may use Plausible Analytics to count page views in aggregate — how many people landed on which country page, how long the average visit lasts. Plausible is cookieless, uses no fingerprinting, and stores no personal data. No IP address logging. Their data policy is short and worth reading.

Where the data lives

The animal-sound corpus lives in Supabase (managed Postgres). The site reads it via Supabase's anonymous key, which is locked to read-only by row-level security policies. No write access from the browser, ever.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel with Cloudflare DNS in front. Vercel and Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP, path, status code). We never read those logs unless investigating an incident.

Kids

Babble Zoo is designed for kids (and curious adults). Because we collect zero personal data and serve no ads, COPPA / GDPR-K concerns don't apply — there's nothing to consent to.
